New beginnings hypnotherapy and counselling is run by Wendy Riley who is a Registered General Nurse and a Registered Mental Health Nurse. She finds that a combination of all her skills helps people to take that first steps and make the changes they want in their lives.
Life can be very stressful and we all need to find ways to relax and chill out. Wendy will teach you how to do this and provide a free recording of your hypnotherapy session, to help you.
She has a particular interest in trauma which can be either physical emotional or sexual which can result in anxiety, or confidence problems. She has also worked with many people over the years with alcohol and drug related issues.
I feel that confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, self-belief and self- love are the areas that require nurturing thus empowering an individual to make change happen, regardless of what their problem happens to be.
These highly sensitive issues would be handled in a confidential empathetic and supportive manner.
New Beginnings Hypnotherapy uses hypnotherapy as a tool to release negative thinking, empowering you to reach your full potential.
Wendy regularly volunteers as a counsellor and hypnotherapist helping people with alcohol and drug issues in Aberdeen. It was her enjoyment of counselling that encouraged her to explore new ways of utilising and employing her skills.
Wendy has a diploma in clinical advanced hypnotherapy (Dip CAH), a Hypnotherapy practitioner diploma (HPD) and is also:
Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (PNLP)
Practitioner in Emotional Freedom Technique (PEFT)
